Peaks of Gastronomy is the highlight of the summer season in Alta Badia, with a number of not-to-be missed events in the heart of the Dolomites. It is the winning combination of enjoyable walking in the fresh, healthy air and the pleasures of delicious food and wine.

In 2016 Peaks of Gastronomy was dedicated to the Giro d’Italia, the famous bicycle race held in Italy every spring; 2016 queen stage was in Alta Badia when it reached Corvara after a 210 km long stage along some of the most challenging Dolomites pass roads.

Every year The Giro d’Italia, an event that transcends the sporting aspect, becoming over the years a social and historical heritage, can be a starting point to create a gastronomic tour among Italy’s flavours and products of excellence.
