Route
Leaving the landmark Tuscan ‘town of a hundred churches’ behind, we head out towards San Gimignano, traversing the rings of breathtaking hills that enclose Lucca.
Cycling along the historic Via Francigena, we travel some outstanding cycling routes with varying degrees of difficulty. Passing ancient castles, hilltop villages, medieval hamlets and miles of vineyards and olive groves, we reach our destination town of Siena.
