Route
The first part of the tour takes you on the extremely scenic route to Alba and the valley of the Tanaro river, before the ascent to Barolo. Enjoy the picturesque hilltop villages and stunning vistas on all sides.
As you journey through the breathtaking peaks and troughs of the Langhe area, you will be surrounded by vineyards, hazelnut trees, iconic churches and beautiful villages. No cycling holiday in Italy is complete without time for sightseeing, including visits to top wineries selling the renowned Barolo, Barbaresco and Dolcetto wines.
